Horseback Riding in Italy
There are many equestrian centres in Italy. Some are just riding schools but many of them also take people out on excursions. Milan has much to offer. Its dreamy light and sumptuous landscapes seem made for romance, and its long history, culture and cuisine seduces just about everyone particularly horse riders.
The goal of the Center is to teach "good riding" to all those who come close to this sport: a conscious and ethical riding, respecting the horse, the horse next door and the tradition that has always characterized our sport. The spirit with which the School of the Ambrosiano Horse Center was born is still to give all students the opportunity to practice good horse riding, even up to the level of agility, with the horses made available by the Center.
The Lombardo Horse Center, a nonprofit association, is located in the heart of Milan since 1930 and is the ideal destination for those who want to get closer to the horse riding mode. Cil is one of the best Italian riding schools and is recognized by C.O.N.I. and F.I.S.E. which EXCELLENCE SCHOOL.
After the Milan Trot Closing in 2012, the 9th of May 2015 was restored to trotting with the transfer of the Ex Mito track on the former Maura training track. Located within the renowned Trenno park, the new Trotting Racecourse La Maura boasts modern, ecological and non-invasive service facilities.
